Extensive Repeated Practice Cues Intuitive Insight into the Bat-and-Ball Problem.

Résumé

We used 100 bat-and-ball items to investigate whether participants would learn to avoid bias after extensive exposure, using a two-response paradigm. In those cases that learning did occur we observed that it was robust and equally likely to result from immediate intuitive insight or more careful deliberation.
