Multiple perspectives on terminological variation
Multiples perspectives en variation terminologique
Abstract
Terminological variation is accounted for from three main viewpoints. Firstly the social dimension investigates emotional, professional and diastratic aspects, secondly those tools and methods used in investigating variation and thirdly the semantics of variation. This last section investigates the concept of unsaturability, intra- and interlinguistic variation and term and concept variation in specialized knowledge dynamics.
